There is a purpose

Have you ever done something for someone without receiving nothing in return or given your all for someone you knew was in need without any appreciation whatsoever? Maybe you even started and built up a business just to lose it all and felt as if all that work and time you had put into it was now useless and wasted.

Those sleepless nights and prayers that you’ve cried for others because you had a heart for them and wanted to help them. But nothing, now all those things have vanished and are gone and you tell yourself that you would have been better off if you would have just forgotten about it all and wouldn’t have had such a BIG HEART for others. You feel as if EVERYTHING was WASTED.

The answer my friend is N•O• all those things you have done or started or built up may not be there now but they will forever be in the heart of every persons life that you have touched at some point in your life. All those things that you were lead to do for others and build up for the kingdom of God aren’t WASTED they were seeds that have been planted to not diminish or go away but to sprout up and push you forward to the next plan that God has for you to do.

Everything in the PAST is not always bad but rather GOOD because there was a PURPOSE for it ALL a plan and seed that had to be planted and you may not see the good in it but you can rest assure that it was not WASTED❤️ Jesus walked this earth, performed many miracles for OTHERS without hardly any appreciation or acknowledgement most of the time, He was stoned and beaten for no reason, & yet He still helped others because of the love He had for them. However, there came a day that He even had to be persecuted yes even AFTER He had done ALL of those good deeds for others but He stayed faithful and did as the Lord wanted Him to do and my friend His PURPOSE didn’t even start until He was 30 years old on his CRUCIFIXION DAY. ❤️

Today if you are wondering if you have helped or touched anyone’s life or if you matter to anyone anymore just remember that weather you feel as if you have or not you HAVE & are currently serving your PURPOSE. Stay in the Lords will and He will always take you to where you need to be to fulfill your purpose and His perfect plan!!

Walking through the Fire

REBLOG: by Maggie Cooper WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE FIRE

This post may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure here

Last night as I folded clothes in my bedroom, my littlest began yelling, “You’re in the hot lava! You’re in the hot lava!” while pointing at the rug. I said, “Oh no!” but continued to put clothes away in drawers. I was on a mission and had no time for play. She then began singing, “God’s saving you! God’s saving you!” over and over. And it caught me by surprise.

She didn’t say, “You’re so strong or you’re so brave or you’re magic!” as I continued going about my business while wading through the “hot lava.” She didn’t even say, “You’re saving yourself!”

She said that God was saving me. And He does, y’all. Every minute of every day.

It made me think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when they were thrown into the fiery furnace in Daniel 3.

Walking through life's fires

“But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, “Didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace?” “Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did,” they replied.“Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!” Then Nebuchadnezzar came as close as he could to the door of the flaming furnace and shouted: “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stepped out of the fire. Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke! Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him.”

I think we all have been or may currently be in situations that feel a lot like hot lava. There are pressure and tension and heat building every second, just waiting for someone or something to blow up. We may feel pain and live with anxious thoughts of what is to come. And yet, we don’t leave the situation. We keep on keeping on.

It may be taking care of a loved one in bad health or working in an unhealthy environment. It may be dealing with an illness of your own or teaching a class of unruly students. People may say things like, “You’re so strong, I don’t know how you do it.” But the truth is, we can’t make it in our own strength. We are able to continue on solely because of a mighty God who is “saving” us, and walking alongside us, every second of every day, y’all.

There have been times that I didn’t even recognize His saving grace until I was on the other side of the “fire.” And then it was an incredible revelation to see how He had made so many little things fall into place…or sometimes out of place…to save me from myself and bring me through to fulfill His plan.

My five-year-old recognized that in my own power, I couldn’t save myself. And I have to remember that too. As adults, it’s so easy to try to be self-sufficient. It’s so easy to point to our bank account or our family or our job as our saving grace. But there is only One who is mighty to save.

Today, whatever lava you may be standing in, whatever fire you may be thrown into, know that there is a God who loves you, fights for you, sustains you and will save you if you’ll let Him.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday🧡💗

Shaped Stones

“I will lay thy stones with fair colors.”

Isaiah 54:11

The stones from the wall said, “We come from the mountains far away, from the sides of the craggy hills. Fire and water have worked on us for ages, but made us only crags. Human hands have made us into a dwelling where the children of your immortal race are born, and suffer, and rejoice, and find rest and shelter, and learn the lessons set them by our Maker and yours. But we have passed through much to fit us for this. Gunpowder has rent our very heart; pickaxes have cleaved and broken us, it seemed to us often without design or meaning, as we lay misshapen stones in the quarry; but gradually we were cut into blocks, and some of us were chiseled with finer instruments to a sharper edge. But we are complete now, and are in our places, and are of service.

You are in the quarry still, and not complete, and therefore to you, as once to us, much is inexplicable. But you are destined for a higher building, and one day you will be placed in it by hands not human, a living stone in a heavenly temple.❤️🧡

“In the still air the music lies unheard;

In the rough marble beauty hides unseen;

To make the music and the beauty needs

The master’s touch, the sculptor’s chisel keen.

“Great Master, touch us with Thy skillful hands;

Let not the music that is in us die!

Great Sculptor, hew and polish us; nor let,

Hidden and lost, thy form within us lie!”

Going through phases & rising

“The moon taught me that it’s ok to go through phases. But the Sun also taught me that no matter how many times you fall to keep rising.”

Today I just want to touch on something quick on such a simple thought that could possibly relate to each of our lives in some way.

I saw this quote that was sent to me by my sister as a reminder that it’s ok to go through things, hardships, & difficulties of life and now I’m sharing and saying to you that I don’t know what you may be facing or what you may be going through at this time in life. Weather it be your health, your finances, everyday worries, loved ones, or even if you are struggling with something in your life that you feel you may never get through or never get over. Maybe some hurt that someone may have caused you. I am here today sharing this on my heart to let you know that whatever giants you may be facing that you can overcome them by the mercies, grace & help of God.

The moon is a beautiful thing that asks for nothing in return for its elegance. It does not fear our eyes upon it, although it is covered with marks and scars left from battles lost with asteroids and comets, for these craters have become one of the many things which define it. It goes through phases much like we do, sometimes showing off it’s full face, shining brighter with each passing minute. Other times it shows nothing but darkness, choosing to not reveal all of it’s secrets and beauty quite yet. Each phase, while it brings change, does not alter its majesty. Our flaws are what make us who we are, no person or thing is made perfect. We are constantly going through changes in our lives; embrace them and do not fear what differences they may bring.

You are in a phase right now a growing and strengthening phase and if you weren’t in this phase of hurt, disappointment, fear or whatever it may be, you may never be able to get to where God is trying to take you in life if it were not for the phases. Trust me I’ve been there I know where you are at and some days its hard to even get through but I just remind myself that ONE DAY I will rise again.

Not only does it take the phases that we often go through to get us to where we need to go but also this simple thought reminds us of the sun and how beautiful it sunrises each morning and sunsets each evening. Well the sun even though it’s so beautiful so strong and peaceful to look upon has to go down or (fall-spiritually speaking) EVERYDAY yes I said, everyday it has to fall but what happens the next morning IT RISES AGAIN and my friend whoever you may be or whatever phase you may be in today tomorrow or next week or struggle you are dealing with I share from my heart today that YOU WILL RISE AGAIN.❤️

“Go through the phases and keep on rising.”

Much love, -B💕

You say vs. God says

|•You say: “It’s Impossible.”

|•God says: “All things are possible.”

|•You say: “ I can’t figure things out.”

|•God says: “I will direct thy path.”

|•You say: “I can’t do it.”

|•God says: “ You can do ALL things.”

|•You say: “I can’t go on.”

|•God says: “My GRACE is sufficient.”

|•You say: “It’s not worth it.”

|•God says: “It will be worth it.”

|•You say: “ I can’t forgive myself.”

|•God says: “I forgive YOU.”

|•You say: “I’m always worried and frustrated.”

|•God says: “Cast ALL your cares on me.”

|•You say: “I feel all alone.”

|•God says: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

A lot of times we are more focused on what “WE HAVE TO SAY” instead of what God has to say to us.

We find us beating ourselves up with:

  • DISCOURAGEMENTS
  • FAILURES
  • IMPOSSIBILITES
  • MISTAKES

But oh, if we could only clear our minds enough to hear what our Precious Heavenly Father has to say to us. What God has to show us and how he wants to direct our steps. Instead sometimes we fill ourselves with all the negatives, yes y’all I know I’m not the only one out there🤪 when God wants us to just think on the positives & what He has to say.

For He careth for us and wants to help us get through our obstacles in life but WE have to want and love HIM💗

Much Love -B💕

Just say Jesus

“Just say Jesus”

(song)

Verse 1

Burdened discouraged not sure if your going to make it. You fall down on your knees, as the tears fall from your face. You know that it’s been a while, since you might have felt the tug. But all that you can say and all that you know, is that He’s always been right there and He’s never left your side.

Chorus

Just say Jesus, He’ll be there through all your pain, even when you don’t have the words to say. Just say Jesus, even when you think you’ve gone to far, He will bring relief just when you think you can’t go on. Just remember where He’s brought you from and JUST SAY JESUS🧡💗

Verse 2

You’ve been down, sorrows filled your life, the enemy has stolen everything that you once had. Your not sure which way to turn, just praying for a miracle. But all that you can say and all that you know is that He’s always been right there and He’s never left your side.

Much Love….💗
